Dr. lawren durocher-babek
Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist
Hi there, I'm Dr. Lawren. I always knew that I wanted to be a veterinarian and while in veterinary school, I was drawn to small animal internal medicine. Over time, this has extended into my research on diabetes and my commitment towards hospice and palliative care.
I have spent almost twenty years as a veterinarian focusing on how to allow our best friends to enjoy longer and healthier lives. I chose to specialize in small animal internal medicine so that I could help our sickest patients feel better, those pets who are suffering from chronic illnesses and who have yet to have a diagnosis. I have pursued clinical practice because I love interacting with my patients and their families on a daily basis. I am able to give insight into both real-world diagnostics and treatments as well as case based approaches. Over the years I have come to see hospice and palliative care, in particular, as a vocation and not purely a career, something that I feel is reflected in my testimonials.
